Root Fresh Installs & ADW

Crucial

So with the new release of several ROM's and Kernel's I have a feeling I'm gonna be wiping and flashing a lot over the next month or two. I really love ADW, but having to go through and remove and replace all the widget's I have on my home screens can be really annoying. Is there anyway around that? All my icons are there, and all the same apps and their respective widgets are put back with TB. Why can't the stupid widgets just work when you reload them instead of the stupid "Problem with widget" thing. It obviously know something was supposed to be there, and I assume it actually knows what as well.

So I guess this is a partial question and partial rant.

LP has the same problem. It says it "Due to limitations in the Android system, homescreen widgets cannot be backed up. When restored, widgets will need to be manually readded to your homescreens."

So no, there is not a way around this.

Sucks, I know. Every icon on my homescreens are widgets (desktop visualizer or minimilistic text)
