Not sure if you can just download the apk (kind of like an exe file) or not.
If/when root access is available I know for sure that you can get it on the custom ROM's.

Thanks Kelmar! I will see if they have a file that I can download, and if there is one I will post the link. I really don't wanna link all of my contacts manually to facebook, cause they are not syncing to any of my contacts like the Blackberry did.

I don't think it works with the stock ROM. There's only a couple of custom ROM's that have it working, but not all of them.

So if I got the HTC EVO, do you think the Friend Stream would work on that one? Since it is more powerful, than the Hero.

According to the Evo forums it is included on the HTC Evo.

Ok, Awesome! Thanks Kelmar. I guess I will end up getting that phone as my next HTC phone. Even though I don't agree with the $10 (4G Fee).

The $10 fee is for not having a 5gig data cap, although it isn't an option
I have been trying to get Friendstream on my Hero for a while. There doesn't seem to be a good apk floating around to get it to work. The Evo will have it though for sure. It has been featured in a lot of their videos.
The Evo will come with Friend Stream and the added $10 is not just for 4G, it is for a richer data expieriance even on 3G.
