Help FriendStream fails update (Twitter)

I use twitter to follow various people in the F1 fraternity, the friendstream widget is pretty handy, so I use that on a homepage. A few times now I've noticed that it fails to update from twitter - it simply doesn't get any new stuff. If I go in to peep that also doesn't update. if I start the twitter app they are all there.

Anyone else noticed this / found a solution ?

Last time it was out of a couple of days and then just started working again.

Apparently twitter have just changed their method for signing in and the HTC peep app or friend stream does not support the new system so it will no longer work.

We just have to hope HTC release a fix soon.

That kind of makes sense. I removed all twitter accounts and re-added. The stock twitter app works fine, the "twitter htc sense" app refuses point blank to log in, says I've got the password or username wrong (I haven't).
The odd thing is it did the fail to update thing last week for a day or two, then came back, was still working this morning..

Ah well, maybe I'll go play with some of the other aggregators..
