Fring on SF

hey guys/gals,

i did a quick search and didnt find anything under the SF forums...so i thought i would pose the question: has anyone used Fring on their SF?

what has been your experience (if you have used it)?

reason i ask is because i'm going to be traveling at the end of this month. and it will be the first time i'm away from my 3 yr old and wife for 5 days...so i wanted something to keep in touch with......video chat.

so, i downloaded Fring on my phone SF and my wifes DX. and it actually worked......we were able to have a video chat (in front of a mirror) over the VZ 3G network. video was a bit grainy...but it was possible.

I Used to have it. It worked great until I realized that while I was logged in to it, I wasn't receiving any texts. Maybe it was something I was doing wrong, but it was irritating nonetheless.

interesting...i havent had that issues...

i also found Tango...that app is also pretty good...
