2 things that are driving me crazy and dumb that the Droid phones do are:
1. if you tap the volume button on accident, it actually moves it one increment up or down in volume, I do this constantly on the S3 because the volume rocker is opposite the lock button so when i have it in my hand and lock the phone, I hit the volume rocker on accident because it's part of your grip which now changed the volume setting as it locks the phone I like on other phones like the iPhone that the fist press after a period of time the volume displays where you are in volume, It doesn't actually change it, then any touch after that will actually adjust it. When I have the S3 in vibrate, I am constantly muting the phone on accident as I lock the phone, annoying
2. When the screen dims half way after like 30 30 seconds, when I tap the screen to make it bright again, it will activate whatever icon i pressed and open that app, make a call, or if I am on line, go to a link I tapped, Tapping the screen when it dims should only re-activate the screen back to normal to continue what you are doing, it shouldn't have an effect on anything actually on the screen, especially when it dims in the sun and you can't see whats on the screen, you tap to brighten and now it just open some random app on the screen or or called someone if you have shortcuts for quick calling
are there any ways to change those 2 issues? I can't believe they still have not changed this after all the updates. I remember bitching about it when I got the first incredible and then was happy when I went back to the iPhone for those 2 reasons alone (along with others that sucked on the INC) but now I am back to S3 and these 2 problems still happen, there has to be a way to change this
