Im currently running Leedroid 3.0.7 Gingerbread with an ext3 partition on my Desire, and have a few questions to move to CM7. Appreciate any help you guys can give me.

1. From CWM, when i wipe, will that clear the apps that are installed on the apps2sd partition of the SD card ? or do i need to format that partition separately?

2. Do i need to wipe cache too ?

3. What is the Google addon that i need to flash ? what does it do ?

Thanks a ton in advance!

1) Yes, No (providing you are using CWM recovery)

2) Just wipe data. This incluides dalvik cache

3) Its gmail, Market and all the google stuff needed for the rom to communicate with Google services.

Thanks for the help Suroot!

Just one more, is it possible to restore app backups from my leedroid install once I'm on cm7? Like handcent, launcher pro, gmail, widget layouts and droidwall?

Thanks again!

Yes, restore with titanium using "missing apps WITH data" but go down the list and unselectable everything that looks like a Rom app.

If you want to restore sms, you need to use something else
