Front Facing Camera lens issue

So I've had my M8 since launch (love everything about it). However, I've noticed that recently the glass on the front camera has become scuffed in some way. I know it's not the lens as the title states (sorry). It's not scratched but it just looks like there's some film on it. I've tried cleaning it but it nothing really removes it. It's giving my pictures a hazy look to them. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

If it's always been this way, make sure you didn't leave the plastic lens protecting film on the lens.

If it just started, back up everything and bring it back to the carrier. Something happened to the lens and you may be able to convince them that it's not scratched, but a manufacturing defect, which would make it eligible for a warranty replacement. (I'm not saying it IS a scratch, but they might claim that it is, to get out of having to replace the phone. Then again, if your carrier's shop does repairs, and is really good, they might just replace the front camera module.)
