Froyo 2.2.2 & hebrew fonts?

version01

Lurker
I was under the impression that a Galaxy 551 using Froyo 2.2.2 would be able to display Hebrew fonts properly. Is there a setting that has to be changed so that Hebrew will show up rather than those darn rectangular glyphs? They seem to be appearing in Opera, and dolphin Browser HD, and in And-Bible to name a few apps. My phone is not rooted. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply :) Unfortunately it's not just sms. Unless the app has a Hebrew font embedded, all I see are the rectangles that appear when you don't have a font. Does the 551 have a Hebrew font installed, or do we have to root it and install one ourselves?
