so i saw this over at another forum so cudos goes out to the guy who posted this but many have had good luck and so did i fixed my sound issues and all.
when you do a factory restore DO NOT SIGN INTO GOOGLE ACCOUNT. SKIP IT,
wait till it boots up and back to homescreen then go to settings and then privacy
then check mark "backup my data" then UNCHECK "Automatic Restore"
then Uncheck "backup my data"
after doing this sign back into google and you should be all set for some reason as in my case the eclair backup is what is being restored and causeing some issues again from what i read many have had luck with this so try it out
