Froyo 2.2 update

I've been looking for the .exe file to update an original Mytouch Slide 3G to version 2.2 Android, but it has absolutely disappeared from the Internet. HTC no longer acknowledges its existence, neither does T-Mobile. It's nowhere to be found. Anybody got a copy they can send me? File name used to be T-Mobile_myTouch_3G_Slide_Software_Update_2.15.531.3.exe

I am tinkering with a T Mobile (US) MyTouch Slide and spend a fair amount of time trying to find this and finally got it on the back pages of other android forum. I cannot post links and am not actually sure that I can find the site again (late, late night obsessing...) but I do have a file called MT3GSRUU2012.exe which is the upgrade you are looking for. you can google that and see it is the upgrade file but many, many popup, spam, bs sites await... It's 187mb so a bit heavy for email, but I can send dropbox link to anyone that wants it, just let me know if you get it to work and how!!!

I have not gotten it to work yet as the instructions are not really very comp, skipping such small details as putting phone in special mode etc.

Now go find that relic!!
