Help froyo and full memory?

so i remember seeing somewhere that froyo would show all 512 of our memory or something..did this happen? where do we notice it?

I was wondering the same thing. I know that 2.2 will allow applications to be installed in the SD card memory (I was able to move a few installed apps already), but I presume the phone memory is still partitioned for ~750MB for applications and the ~6.6GB for storage (pictures, video, etc...)?
