Froyo Car Dock, umm...

Quite possibly a noob question here but with Froyo and the 'Car Dock' settings, how does it detect that it's "docked"?? And why are the settings 'Auto Detect' without the option to change anything?

I'm guessing it has to do with the Bluetooth connection.

And which dock are you referring to? Just asking since I haven't seen a legit EVO dock on the market.

HTC is supposedly working on a car dock, but no one knows when it'll be out.

For some reason, under my dock settings, under "Default device" it has the name of my ipod. I can't remove it either. heh.

My dock settings show my garmin gps

Sounds like its finding bluetooth devices, and/or keeping record of bluetooth devices it has found and/or connected with in the past. Just a guess
