Root froyo flash player

i did a search and came up with only one thread that wasn't very helpful. if there is a thread concerning this please redirect me.

i understand there isn't a flash player yet for froyo 2.2? how are you guys playing flash based videos like on youtube? i used to play videos on xtrROM before i upgraded to 2.2.

Youtube is a separate app that doesn't require flash to play videos. You can download Skyfire from the market which has its own method of playing flash videos.

I haven't tried one myself, but the beta Sense Froyo ROMs have Flash player in the browser. See [ROM][BETA]Tenzo2.2.1 - Froyo-Sense, Cache2Cache, Wifi, GPS, CFSv8[11-21-10] - xda-developers (see the second post for the list of stuff that does and doesn't work.)
