Froyo for Samsung Fascinate?!? Is it out there?
Okay guys I have a friend that owns a samsung fascinate. I have her rooted but I can not figure out how to update her phone to froyo 2.2. All the threads/google searches I'm coming up with states that Samsung basically hasn't released a version for the Fascinate. If anyone has seen a link out there for a ROM leak...please pass it my way. Thank you for your help.
 
Okay please help me understand this better... because I have a samsung vibrant (i'm pretty knowledgeable flashing ROMS/Themes on my device) but I'm trying to flash a ROM on my friend Fascinate. So this is kinda of new for me.. I can flash either one of the ROMs on that list with ROM manger?! No Odin needed? No upgrade to 2.2 Froyo needed?

Negative. You have to push through odin because you need a new radio/modem
 
Wow...okay well thank you for your help thus far. One last request: Which ROM is the best for speed/batt life and are there step-by-step instructions on how to install with Odin so i don't end up bricking my friends phone? Any YouTube links would be helpful as well. She doesn't really need anything TOO fancy! Just a step above 2.1! You know what I mean?! So anything that has speed/batt life and easy installation would be awesome.
