is there any news yet at all other than before xmas my neighbor just ordered the droid x which is supposed to come with 2.2 i was hoping to get it around same time or before (what can i say i want to show it off on the evo)

Keep in mind though that running 2.2 on your rooted phone will render your camera useless. Unless someone got it working in the past few days.
