Root froyo roms

I heard froyo gives good battery life I think with netarch or freedom kernels what are some good Rom I'm just looking for some good roms with battery life and kernel I tried undrworld kernel and it doesn't work

well for me froyo never really gave me that good of a battery life. i mean netarchy's kernels are great, but i think gingerbread kernels are better. but that is me and my phone. your phone might be quite different.

it will be hard to find a link to an existing froyo rom, now days. so good luck finding them. if you find mikfroyo some place then give that one a go. i luv that rom!!!!

edit: actually, for me cm7 with tiamat's sbc kernel was by far the best thing to ever run on my evo. i have not found any better combo then that for me.

Froyo is going to be a pretty big step back man. With each new version of android you have all kinds of under the hood fixes and improvements.

Not to mention patches to large security holes

Im running nitrous right now with freedom universal kernel any kernel with sbc that is not underworld that is good

well kernels will always be YRMV so it is hard to say which one is better.

but here are all of the kernels out now:

skip to the second post and you will see all of the available kernels. pick one and try it out. give it a few days and before moving on to the next one.

just make sure that you flash the appropriate kernel.
