Thanks. I just took all my setting shortcuts and put them on one of my "new" 2.2 screens. I have tried all the suggested battery saver ideas the past few days, but still have issues since upgrading to Froyo. This morning I trashed my Task Killer (first app I ever added to my Droid!) - but I miss its utility and ease. Any chance there will be an update to Froyo to address what is obviously a widespread discontent with the battery issue? If someone created an app that addressed this problem they'd be my hero.
