Help Froyo Web Browser Question

When I had Eclair and I was browsing a web page I could scroll down to the link I wanted to hit and hit enter to take me to it, on the stock froyo browser I have to tap on the link with the touch screen because scrolling down and hitting enter on it isn't working, is there any way to enable that?
