Rename the file to update.zip (not update.zip.zip)

Installing here. I've been at the blinking red eye Droid boot animation for a good ~5 minutes now, guys. Starting to get a bit worried. You all might want to hold off for a bit until this thing is proven. I installed 2.0.1 and 2.1 manually, so I'm well aware of how to do it properly.

Hey - Just found the forum today and HOPE I figured it out. Looked at the pattern for the last OTA and assumed last 4 digits might be CRC or something. If this works, I got lucky since I'm sure others here were minutes (maybe seconds) behind me.

Not yet, if you're interested in rooting then hold off until someone has an answer. I believe OMJ is already looking into this.

Renamed to update.zip, copy to the root of your sdcard, rebooted into recovery, apply update: update.zip

Installed and working. slow first boot, then had slowness with a sync once up but working fine now.

Confirmed it's working here. Horribly slow first boot, I had to tap power button to turn screen off, then tapping it again brings up the unlock slider. All is as it appears to be but it's running really slow. Power cycling & rebooting again. All of my home screen icons & shortcuts are preserved. Just be patient!

everything seems to be working. just installed flash. it's in the market as "adobe flash showcase"
