Also it's worth mentioning, anyone reading this thread, IF you get the update, DO NOT PRESS INSTALL NOW. Send a PM to Trident, and he'll direct you from there. That's if you receive it OTA, not off a server. Sorry, shoulda been more clear.
 
... only had a droid for about 2 months now...friend pointed me to this sitey goodness. while were on the topic of the 2.2 ota... uh... i know said firends eris went "bite me" to her after she got 2.1... did the droid get screw you afication? sorry if this is the wrong place to put this... but curious

I am a new register, long time reader, and huge Android fanatic. I need help and am hoping AA (Android Anonymous) can help. But first can I have some frozen yogurt? ;-)
 
I will admit I joined last night for the sole purpose of this new update, but seeing everyone freaking out like me makes me feel better knowing I'm not alone...I'm here for life

Some people did but the vast vast majority did not. Likely you'll be just fine.
 
Off topic, which might be well needed for a moment. I really enjoy the site lay out and I truely enjoy the 'New Reply' Button. :cool:
 
Nothing to add. Just wanted to post now so someday when the grandchildren are over I can tell them I was there when it all began. :D
 
Any chance Trident is going to use this opportunity to infect 1000s of droid with mind control software and try take over the world?
