Help Frustrating problem.

Hi All!

I was wondering if anyone on here could help me with a problem which has been frustrating me for the last couple of weeks on my Samsung Galaxy S2. I am currently running Gingerbread 2.3.5 on an unrooted phone. When I boot the phone up, the desktop, which is Spb Shell 3D) will load as normal. However after a few minutes the desktop will freeze, the screen goes black and then the desktop reloads itself. However, when it does the 3g signal strength meter has been replaced by a no signal icon. It will then freeze and reload again. This process then repeats over and over again. I have tried uninstalling anything that might be the cause of the problem: bitdefender, avast, themes etc but to no avail. :-) I have also tried going into recovery mode when I reboot the phone and wiping the cache but that has no effect either. I have tried other launchers, Go Launcher EX, TSF Shell but they all do the same thing. Anyone here have any ideas where I am going wrong?

Any help will be much appreciated, thank you!

You could try wiping the dalvik cache or doing a factory reset.
Hell I would root and flash a rom to see if that'd help bit I respect stock to.
Could be bad hardware a lemon right. Hope that helps you.

How can I wipe Dalvik Cache without root? Is that possible? I wonder if that is what makes my internal memory fill up with 200-300 megabyte pr. day!!

Problem solved! It appears my memory card was on its way out. New one on order from Amazon which should arrive tomorrow. :-) Many thanks for your help!
