Help FTP Access

[pagdodd]

I want to be able to access the files on my PC at home and away on my A500

I have an FTP set up on my computer and can access the required directory via Firefox on my work PC

The problem I have is accessing when away from home on my tablet.

I am using ES File Explorer,
I have inputted the desired IP address, Port and user name etc..

When I try and access the saved directory on FM HD it just stays on "getting file list"

Am I missing something glearingly obvious?

Ignore me, it was my router blocking it!
