good lord. this thing is crazy. i like the rubber looking part. looks like it would help with any kind of drop or bump you could come up with. but that hard faceplate looks to be a little overkill to me lol
 
Wouldn't you just know it, I got my Otterbox commuter in the mail today.

Oh well. Tough looking case.
 
you could take your phone into battle with that thing haha. i figure if my commuter isnt enough, i seriously need to re-evaluate where i take my phone haha
 
The defenders are the best cases made for any phone. I can't wait to get mine!

I suggested to the rep I was emailing 3 months ago that they make this case for the hero. I am glad they took my advice....:D
 
That's great looking, but I bet it practically disables the buttons. I've got the Otterbox Impact on mine, and while it's otherwise a great case, it definitely makes the volume bar very difficult to work.

Really? I find it very easy to use, because the button is bigger. I can turn the headphones up while it is in my pocket, because I can feel the button. Without the case, I wouldn't be able to feel it in my pocket.
 
I got the commuter case a while back...wish they had this one out at the time. My end call button now looks like a red dot because something is my pocket scratched it up and the silver scraped off a bit. Having the buttons covered like this model would have been nice.
 
Holy geezuz...that looks like the armor that popped-out to surround the Batmobile in some of the crappy pre-Christian Bale Batman movies....
 
Yeah you can almost hear the Transformers "kuh kuh kah kah kih" sound when you put it on...:D

What the?!! Batman I with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson is a classic, the best in the whole series...
