Root Full Bluetooth Stack

Hello guys,
I tried so many roms in the past 2 weeks, and the interesting thing is,
only CM6 has the full bluetooth stack (which also allow HID support) bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
How come no other room are compiled with the bluetooth stack?
Is it only me who needs a full working bluetooth?
or I did something wrong?

Thanks guys.
Gil

Because Cyanogenmod has hacked in BT HID support. It did not come correctly from aosp.

So folks can compile a source built rom and use it, or they can use Cyanogenmod which is already done and has a lot of nice features in it.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I actually love the CM6 rom. But somehow, the CM6 rom runs alot slower on my phone!
I tried 2nd Wave, 3rd Wave, Evo port, Jagar, .. they are all very fast!
Is there something I didn't do for CM6 rom to cause it very slow?

That is interesting. I would like that. I might use terminal commands more if I could use a keyboard.

Does anyone have the internal memory recognizing in CM6. That and I agree it wasn't as fast and I couldn't use a Hydra Kernel with it for some reason. Loved the menu options though. Wish they all worked but highly impressed with it.

correct. Bluetooth mouse and keyboard supported by CM6.
I actually love many part of the CM6, the only thing is that it is much slower/laggy compare to all other rom.

And I don't get why no other rom includes the full bluetooth stack.

If the dev that made the changes initially could get them pushed into the main Android source tree, it would be a fix for all of us :)

No it doesn't. I tried all 2.2 Froyo roms, none of them support my bluetooth (HID) keyboard or mouse.
Only the CM6 rom supports it!

If you're having issues with cm6 running slow, run a fix permissions in rom manager after you have reinstalled all your apps.
