Full Charge Vibrate app?

I have an LG39C. My wife has a Samsung S2 which has a nice "feature". Even with the phone turned off, if she has it plugged in charging, it will vibrate when it hits full charge. My LG doesn't do that and I've not found a setting to enable it.

I've looked and don't see an app for that, anyone know of one?

Yeah, me too but... for someone who knew the opsys, why would it be difficult to do with the phone off? The phone "knows" it's plugged into power and that it's charging. It also tests conditions for charge state and "knows" when the charge if full and I "assume" goes into a float state at that point. Seems like someone could add a vibrate command to that leg of the code. Maybe I'm making it too simple though...

Just know I like (and she does too) that hers lets you know when it's charged up. oh well.

I don’t know if this may be what you are looking for but Battery Monitor Widget has an option for an alarm along with vibrate.
I use the pro version so I don't know if the free version has it

On my phone it will sound the alarm (of my choosing) and vibrate when the screen is off.
Now granted, the vibrate is one, short vibration, but....
Check it out if you like:)

Thanks Mike, I'll check it out.

Edit: It looks like the phone needs to be powered on for this one. The "Vibrate when charged" feature must be a Samsung only built-in function. Oh well. I certainly won't lose any sleep over it. ;)

If its vibrating while off, id imagine either the device isn't truely off or its turning on once fully charged.

The bigger question is, why turn it off to charge? ;)

I was on a rom for a while where it would vibrate when charged (while on) and it was so annoying, its like it would vibrate when it hit 100%, phone would cut off charge, drop down to 99%, charge, hit 100 and vibrate again :banghead::banghead:
I never have my phone off while charging tbh

Yeah, I guess I could see under some circumstances it could be annoying. Apparently the Sams only do it when they're in silent mode. I guess ideally it'd be nice to have a on/off setting for something like that but upon thinking on it some more, more often than not I'd probably have it turned off.

I dunno, just seemed like a good idea. I suppose though it wouldn't make a gnats butts worth of difference. It's not like leaving it on would make it charge slower...

This may have been with older batteries a few year back, but I always understood that charging with the phone on was "harder" on the battery and diminished it's life? I know if you search "how to prolong a lap top battery" a lot of the tips are to NOT charge it while it's on. Have things changed in the last few years?

Your phone batteries are fine being charged while on
