Help Full Proven Debrand Method

kalfou

Newbie
Hey guys,

Recently i have been looking for a method on how to debrand an x10 and i have come across many on the internet, BUT because the debrand methods began back in march/may they are nearly all outdated!

I'm wondering if there is a recent method in which i can debrand my x10i, 1.6 UK Orange phone so i can update to 2.1...A recent method that is realiable and tested...

Thanks guys.

kalfou,

I debranded my x10 last night, no problems at all. Just make sure to make a note of all your apps & back up your data.

The error has been documented and someone has given the reason for the error and the procedcure in which to complete the debrand BUT it still doesn't work for me... I have tried everything on that method but i still get the unknown error and i have tried all my USB ports...

"Okay guys.
Here is Global World Firmware 2.1 Version with x10Flasher 2.1 (old 1.6 Firmware can not be flashed with this at the moment)."

Old 1.6? I have version 020 on my phone, is this what they mean by old 1.6?

1.6 Android OS. Most users are upgrading to the 2.1 Android OS.
020 are the last 3 digits of your firmware number for the 1.6 OS.
