Do you care for Ubuntu on your Android?

Someone would have to make an extremely lite version of it. Remember, Admire has 208MB of internal memory and Ubuntu needs at least 2.5GB of system memory... We'd more likely see ICS on admire before anything like Ubuntu on this. It looks like it's more for tablets and higher end Andriod phones. Would be cool but I highly doubt it.

It's saved on your memory card and not the actual phone, so along as you have a 4GB memory card or higher you'd be okay.

Sure that's true, just like it could do that on windows via a external HDD or even a USB stick, but still to be a functional phone you'd need a certain amount of memory used within the internal portion of the phone for it to function fully. With that, dual boot could be incorporated however, the other boot would have to be an 2.3.4 which takes quite a bit of memory already. The only catch is without that card, the phone is useless. So something like an 8Gig or 16Gig might be recommended for anyone who wants to put music, movies, or whatever. Dev's have been trying to port ICS to this phone and having a very difficult time mainly because of the size of the internal memory. No SD card, no phone. I'm not sure if anyone wants that.

Have u tried linux installer on the market? I tried it but didnt have time to finish installing it. Im going to try it again tomorrow.

You can use the phone and Ubuntu at the same time, and turn it off if necessary
