I’m not sure that this is what Marie Antoinette (or Queen, for that matter!) had in mind, but it is creative...

I'm guessing in reality she is resting the box spring on the rear door sill to keep most of it off the ground while someone else has gone to get a strap/rope they are going to pass through the rear doors so they can tie it to the roof.

At least that's what I hope is going on...
