That reminds me of a car I had many years ago. I took it for its annual MOT (UK safety and vehicle condition test), the tester said " Put it this way, there's nothing wrong that a new car wouldn't fix".

I worked in a parts store many moons ago and there were a few customers we knew pretty well and could joke around with. Some of them owned real beaters and a recurring comment was “Ya know what I’d do, is remove the radiator cap, go find a car it fits, and buy it.”
