FYI ZAGG's invisible shield sale 12/14 50% of EVERYTHING

Their shields may be useful for the body, but they are awful for touchscreens, no matter what they say. Get a phantomskinz or even Verizon's own touchscreen protectors for the screen.

Well that just killed my plans for the sale...any other reviews out there?

I tried the ZAGG's invisible shield on my Droid and sent them back for a refund. Their website has some nice vids on how to apply them and they show this neat little spray bottle used to apply an unknown liquid that is required to apply the skins. They no longer supply the spray bottle and replaced it with a liquid filled black sponge. My included sponge may have been defective but it left some small pieces of sponge on the skins. I found this to be near impossible to remove. The skins can be applied and moved around till you get them aligned. There are 16 pieces that you will need to apply and yes you can open the battery compartment. The battery cover has it's own skin as does every surface except that flat ridge that runs around the perimeter of the droid and contain the buttons, charging port and 3.5mm port. Additionally the corners of the Droid are left exposed. I really didn't like this as that ridge and corners would be the first thing damaged if you drop the phone. The skin does give the phone a tacky feel and that does feel more secure in your hand but the screen protector is of the same material and therefore does not give the same smooth feel and response as you would get with the bare glass or VZW screen protector. They do have a lifetime warranty and you can return them as I did for a refund. If you do choose to try them I suggest you wash your hands and work area very well. A bathroom with the shower left on for a few minutes will help to remove any lint particles from the air prior to installing the skins. There is no hurry so take your time and expect the task to take from 30 to 60 minutes or longer. I wasn't happy with that black sponge, the feel of the screen protector or the lack of coverage on the corner and ridge but that doesn't mean you won't be so make up your own mind.

BestSkinsEver uses the same material and different packaging and its less than a third of the price of Invisable Shield. I highly suggest it. And no, it does not interfere with touch screen at all.
