G+ Hangout

Hi i was looking to see if anyone was able to join a Hangout from their Epic? I went to the desktop view from my phone and it said that i was not able to view with this device. I am using the current update of G+.

All the help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
I believe the hangout feature only works on devices running Android 2.3+

Officially, our Epics are still on android 2.2.

I've got a Motorola Photon and the wife's got an EPIC 4G. I was able to use G+ Hangout w/ my Motorola Photon, and it worked great! Everyone (which was about 6 people) on the hangout was shocked that I was on an Android device. It worked great. Hopefully the EPIC 4G gets upgraded to 2.3 soon!
 
It's actually a pretty cool feature. Video chat for up to 10 people on Google+. It works pretty well.
