Help G+ Location Widget and Voice question

1. There appears to be a Google+ widget which will show on a map the location of your circle people (who have loc on and are sharing with you). When I try to add it I just get a white "Loading..." screen, anyone else?

Now, I don't know if any of my friends are actually sharing with me. . .but I'd think I could at least add the widget and see a map with no pins?

2. I love the always-listening voice thingie, and it's definitely a wow feature and becoming very useful. However, randomly during meetings it decides to BEEP and tell the whole room that it doesn't understand the question. No one, I'm sure, has said, "Hi Galaxy". I'm not planning on going to any funerals or church soon but I'm sure that would be a big buzzkill in those situations. . .is there a way to (quickly) turn down the sensitivity for do not disturb situations?

(Edit - a reboot fixed problem 1, and Rukbat below posted a good commonsense solution to #2)

Go to silent mode (trivial - it's one of the icons you can add to the controls in Notifications). Or turn S-Voice off during meetings.
