G Nexus- ATT version

Is anyone using a G Nexus on ATT? If so, are you happy with it? Any info you can provide would be appreciated.

Hope you don't mind, a few more questions. The Nexus (ATT version) does HSPA+, but not LTE, is that right? How's the sound from both the speaker and ear piece?

very good, and playstore

yes it's only HSPA, no LTE

phone call's haven't used much, but those sound ok......the actual speaker is a little weak, but thats no surprise from reading about it beforehand

i find the speaker isn't as bad if you choose your ringtones carefully

I have owned several GSM Galaxy Nexus's, just got this one Friday from the Play Store. Phone is a really good phone, speaker is alright and battery life is something for me to be desired, not as good as GS3, and I would say just a little worse than the iphone.

I miss LTE speeds, but HSPA+ is fast where I live. Phone is super smooth, I have been switching back in forth since I got it between AOKP and the new jellybean. My first time messing with the softkeys, fun to mess around with.

I loved the GS3, but this being a Nexus and having stock android is a huge deal for me, JB is awesome, love the subtle changes and how smooth it really is.

Camera is okay, not as good as the GS3, iphone 4s, or HTC One X<, but still respectable, especially if you manually focus it.

For 350 bucks it is a great deal.

I was kind of putting off the GSM Nexus because of the some of the issues that plaque the vzw version. Low speaker volume, poor battery life and poor connectivity. I'm sort of ok with the fact that the GSM model does not have LTE because ATT's coverage is still very weak at this time.

Not sure if you have used the vzw Nexus but when you say speaker is alright and battery life leaves a bit to be desired on the GSM version, would you say it on par with or worse than the vzw Nexus? I am really interested in voice quality and loudness, both from the earpiece and speaker. Can you make it thru the day on moderate to heavy usage?

How about data performance? And connection problems with the GSM version?

Thanks again

I cannot compare to VZW version, but I can compare to Droid Eris, DINC, DX, Fascinate, Thunderbolt, IP4(s),EVO 3D, GSII, Note, One X,GSIII

Battery life is about par with ip4s, a little worse than the GSIII, it gets me through with moderate use with about 30% left. I unplugged today at 10 am and right now at almost 1 am it still has 22% left.

The DX was one of my favorite phones, this doesn't have as good quality of loudness as that but it still pretty good.

I have had no connection issues with the GSM version, sound quality has been very good when on calls.

I've been using a GNEX on AT&T and have no complaints. The battery life has been good - typically unplugged about 9am and lasting through 5pm without low battery warnings.

Voice quality is about average - it seems most smartphones these days have just passable phone audio quality.

Speed testing is pretty quick ( I think 4-6 down) though this varies so much by region that it's not a fair comparison in most cases.

I consider the battery on my GNEX to be better than my iPhone 4S.

Sounds good. Seems GSM Gnex is better phone than VZW variant and I like that it's true Google phone.

Is your Gnex able to work on HSPA+ from AT&T? I'm just about to get one from Play store and activate it on ST pre-paid plan. But I like to make sure it can run on HSPA+, not just HSPA network.
