Help G2 Battery life all of a sudden real short!

Had my G2 for a cpl months now and well, its not the best phone, liked my G1 more but I tweeked it enough that I can live with it.... but now, the battery dies all of a sudden.

Before I was actually impressed with the batt life, could go 2 or 3 days w/o charging. Now, I go to bed at 1am, batt fully charged and next thing you know i'm oversleeping b/c the phone turned itself off due to dead battery in the middle of the night! This happened twice.

I didn't install any new apps or do anything, ie: did not switch the settings around or anything.

Help? poing me in the right direction???

Maybe a bad battery? They can crap out for no reason.

You should try Juice Defender. I have a Optimus T along with my G2 and I got 29hrs of battery life. With normal use to. I just got my G2 today after waiting a couple days for the insurance replacement and I am already noticing an increase.

Lithium-Ion batters, as like most batteries, have a so many "cycles" to it's lifespan. Every single time you unplug your phone and plug it back in, that's one cycle. That's why it's recommended to let your phone fully charge and discharge before charging it again. More than likely you're battery has just crapped out on you. My G1 did the same thing.
