G2 in the UK

I can't find this thing anywhere - the old T-Mobile G2 (Hero) seems to come up in all searches.

Anyway, has anyone bought in the UK (Sim Free, unlocked preferably) or are we stuck with the Desire Z?

I have seen unlocked G2 in the UK on eBay.

the desire Z i think is what youre stuck with..however you can get buy a straight up G2 from america / canada or where ever, and get an unlock code.

another option is getting the desire z and putting the vanilla 2.2 OS from the g2 on it, if possible.
