Help g2x ascending ringtone

Greetings,

I have just upgraded to a G2X but I can not seem to find any way to change the ringtone volume from ascending to just start playing at normal volume.

Does anyone have a solution without getting a paid app?

Come now lets not be shy, I can't possibly be the only rabbit with this issue. I have tried some Market apps like, Volume Control +, Volume Ace Free, Volume Manager Free and a few other with no luck. I have tried to google this issue and the visit the LG support forum as well.

The phone is outstanding no issue outside this personal one. Is this something that there is no chance of changing at this time?

Thanks beatdough, but, like I said, The phone is fantastic and the ascending ringtone is not a deal breaker.

I did think that is a little odd that the phone is defaulted to this mode with no known way to change it.

I guess time will tell..... maybe with ICS?

Well, my best and only suggestion would be to download https://market.android.com/details?id=net.zedge.android&feature=search_result from the market.

Then get the ringtone/notification that's entitled 50,000hz. (Or something along those lines)

Of course it would be a different ringtone (and annoying) but it does ascend in volume.
