Help G2X Doesn't Light Up the 4 LED Lights At All

My LG-P999 (G2X's Model Number) never actually showed signs that the four LED buttons at the bottom light up. When I started to see tips and tricks for it on YouTube and various Android forums, I noticed everyone's G2X's light up.

The current version it is running is 2.3.3. And no, I haven't rooted it for any manner. I've had this phone for approximately 4 weeks and have been trying to figure out how to make them light up, especially since it's hard to see at night.

I have tried to reboot it several times and did various types of resets. I'd like to mention that even when I charge my phone, it still does not show up.

Can the Android Forums community lend me a helping hand? Thanks in advance!

those aren't LED's. G2X doesnt have any (stupid, i know) If you want those to flash you have to download an app. and its a background app so it takes up a lot of battery.

What? I am pretty sure the OP was talking about the bottom buttons of the G2x (menu home back and search) don't light up at all for him. Not about flashing or anything.

As far as I know, this sounds like a hardware problem not anything to do with the software of the phone. Your best bet would be to call T-Mobile and they'll probably end up sending you a replacement.
