G2X on TMO able to talk and surf the web at the same time

So I was on the phone with my friend the other day and I decided to try it even though I tried it when I first got the phone and it didn't work I said the hell with it I am always testing things so while I was talking I had my Bluetooth on and I went to the browser and I went to the railroad website and checked the train schedule. I couldn't believe it when the page actually loaded. So I tried about 10 different websites and they all worked my friend didn't believe me. So Later on when we were in the same place he called my phone and then we did it again and it worked again. I thought that that was exclusive to ATT, I would think that TMO would advertise that. Unless that means that the merger or takeover whatever it is happened and they just haven't went public yet. Anyone else able to talk and surf at the same time. Anyone know anything about this? This is just one more good thing about this phone I have not had any problems knock on wood. I mean a few freeze ups but Like I have said before this is a computer, even my laptop and home computers freeze up sometimes. And sometimes I just like to do a factory reset just to get that new car smell ya know what I mean.

This is actually not an exclusive to AT&T but rather to GSM networks in general. It's a limitation of CDMA networks like Verizon and Sprint. The workaround of course is when you are on WiFi. Some of Verizon's new LTE phones can talk + surf as long as you're connected to 4G.

Oh I might have been on wifi but I don't think so
