Help g2x touch sensitive buttons

Just got my G2x and my 4 touch sensitive buttons on the bottom of the phone do not light up. Is mine broken? I cannot figure out how to turn them on. Or do they even light up?

Yes, they do light up. If yours don't, the phone is broken and you should exchange it. (Just turning on the power should illuminate them.)

When you first turn it on, or when you touch the screen, they should light up, but they do not stay lit if that is what you mean. A quick touch of the screen should have them lighting up again.
