Gadget Bag or "Man Purse"

Haha I know I am not the only guy with a "Murse" for all my gadgets. Well I will soon have a tablet to add to the mix and I was curious what all you guys use. I have a day hiking bag to hold all my batteries, cables, cameras etc. I really like and use a Grid It (Cocoon Innovations) for my laptop bag but their netbook/tablet bags are pricey and may not hold all my other stuff. What do you guys use? I wont leave the girls out you can share to!

Use a backpack - got it for free when I used to work at IBM and it has held everything I ever needed...

i don't carry around any gadgets except my phone, but if i go on day hikes and take my camera i have a camelbak HAWG NV which is pretty much the best day pack i've ever had.

Same here, on a normal basis my phone is everything I need - Phone, messages, music, camera, computer, navigation device- all in 1 single device in my pocket.

But if I do an overnight or something and need to bring my laptop, cables, etc I use an Oakley backpack and dedicate a couple pockets on it just to my electronics.

I have a wife, I don't need a purse ;)

Ha, +1.

Like others, I have my all in one device which is my EVO 4G. It functions as my cam, web browser, social networking, email/messaging, video chat and multimedia device. My fiance has a laptop so I use that if we're out. But stick to my Desktop while home.

Usually I just carry my phone in my pocket. If I need more space, I just take my laptop bag.

Shoulder bags for men are fairly common here in Asia. The make them in all styles: computer bag style, magician/wizard style, messenger style. I used to use the one that I call magician/wizard style. If you've ever seen the cover of a Fantasy novel, you'll know what I'm talking about. Now that my Galaxy S takes the place of my phone, camera, and PDA, I don't use it anymore.

I would suggest something along the lines of one of those beer helmets. Carry your phone, tablet and a tasty cold one.

I use this bag :)

Currently holds - iPad, phone, portable HD, various chargers, analog notebook, pens, flash drives, handy knife, headphones, couple of paperback books, yo-yo ball, mints, etc...

Pretty handy. I get asked where I got it from constantly.

A.

I wear a kilt as daily attire and get accused as it is.. I don't need any help, lol. But I do use a backpack to carry my gadgets around.

usually I just carry my phone, but there have been a few times where i have my messenger bag with my laptop and then my camera bag.

I'm actually looking for a larger bag so I could fit my laptop, phone, camera, accesories and other random thing i take with me on small hikes and such

I am looking for a new bag. Something to carry my iPad, phone, notebooks, appointment schedule/date book, fountain pens, manuscript drafts, work orders, and a pack of gum.

I will only consider leather and fine construction. I tend to keep my purses for decades, so a costly but well made product ends up being cheaper in the long run.

Something like this:

Bomber Jacket Expandable Brief - Bag - Levenger

Why do you need to carry "..notebooks, appointment schedule/date book.." if you have an iPad and smartphone?
