I've got the following problem on a month-old S2 and an out-of-the-box replacement I've just unpacked. Can anyone help, or confirm if this is happening (or not happening) on their phone?
The problem happens ONLY when the phone is on battery. When on charge it works perfectly.
I bring up the touch test screen (*#0*# and then select "Touch") and try quickly drawing a sine wave on the screen. When the phone is running on the charger it looks perfect. When running on battery it looks all jumpy - joined up straight lines rather than curves - as if a spider had drawn it or I didn't have full control of my finger.
A friend with an older S2 running a previous version of Android doesn't experience the problem.
Android version: 4.04
Model: GTI9100
Baseband Ver: I9100XXLQ6
Kernel: 3.0.15-I9100XWLPT-CL941023 dpi@dell169 #3 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jul 27 18:08:15 KST 2012
Build Number: IMM76D.XWLPT
Is anyone else experiencing (or not experiencing) this?
Roughly how old is the phone?
Any tips for a fix?
