Hi guys!!
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy 5 in Bangkok, but I cannot seem to connect it to my Intel laptop, running Windows 7, 64 bit, Home edition.
I dowloaded and installed the latest Kies-version (from the UK-Samsung website) and it runs fine. It even 'discovers' my phone, but not the Micro-SD card (16gb, SanDisk)
. I therefor cannot upload pics or music to my phone.
I surfed around on these forums for about two hours now, but no luck...
I already tried to install additional drivers for the 64-bit version of Win 7 (only found those specifically for Samsung Galaxy S though), but that didn't work.
My phone runs firmware version 2.1, update 1, Kernel 2.6.29, build number ERE 27.
Please help me
What Kies version will work ?
What (if any) additional drivers should I install ?
Why do I get the notification that, because of Google-policy, I cannot install apps from the Samsung-store ?
All help is appreciated !!
