Galaxy Ace 2 Task Manage Missing?

Lurker
Since upgrading my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 to Jelly Bean this week I can no longer find the Task Manage to kill applications.

I've searched the Internet and can only find references to using the 'Home Key' but I can't find that either.

Can you offer any advice on how I can find the Task Manager?

Thank you so much...

I found it in the end, it's the key at the bottom of the phone, the elongated one.

I searched for ages and couldn't find any reference to that being the Home Key anywhere.

I honestly dont mean this to sound patronising in any way man. On android, the "desktop" is called "home" so the home key is the one you tap to get to the homescreen

Also, don't go using task managers to kill apps. It is counterproductive and may cause crashes and more battery usage.

Yeah, never make it a habit to kill tasks.. the Ace 2 is a more than capable phone. My mum has one and ive messed around with it. All id suggest is install the App Cache Cleaner widget and tap that whenever it gets laggy. That phone seems to handle in-app cache badly but its fine with what apps it chooses to cache (does that even make sense lol?)

I like mine and think it was a good buy for the budget I'd set myself. I've not noticed mine starting to lag. The only niggle I have with it is that it sometimes reboots itself when I unplug the USB cable (just charging it can cause this). I'm not sure but that may have been caused by me - it started doing this after I carelessly unplugged the cable mid a debugging session, locking the phone up.

My mums never mentioned hers rebooting yet tbh mate, just problems with things like the keyboard app feeling kinda delayed but yeah it seems like quite a good phone. My wife recently got rid of her Ace 1 and it was a pile of pish lol.. such a low-end phone compared to the Ace 2

Ps, have u tried a factory reset since that reboot bug started mate?

Thanks for the info. I'd not thought of trying a factory reset. I don't want to do it just now but I'll give it a try sometime.
