Galaxy Ace not recognizing SD Card apps

My phone was failing to boot, so i had to restore to factory settings, however i backed up my SD card, it has all my apps on it from before, but when i put the SD card in my phone it doesn't recognize any of the apps, and says there's nothing on my SD card. Whats going on?

the way android works is that when it moves the app to the sd card, it does not move the entire app. part of it stays on the device and the other part is moved to the sd card. this is why most widgets associated with the app will not work if you do this. so when you did a factory reset, the apps that were moved(the part on the phone) was erased from the internal storage.

not much you can do at this point.

Damn.....is there a way i can recover my playstore/google account? I had alot of stuff saved on there.

if you agreed to at the beginning to save your data with google then once, you log in, it should sync with google and you should be ok. not sure what you can do at this point. google does remember all of the apps you purchased so that should not be an issue.
