Help Galaxy Nexus Indicator? :S

My Nexus stopped charging properly last week, it has been charging albeit very slowly. It starts with the battery indicator with the Lightning Bolt inside, then goes through a few cycles of charge then back to the Lighting Bolt Battery so I have been leaving it on for 12 hours straight. Now I now its broken when it comes to charging but I noticed there was a green battery symbol were the charging indicator is (as it is burned into the screen) when I was on a white page (internet or messages) Is this a low battery indicator or should it not be there?

Thank you.

You mean in the middle of your screen? Like the one you get when your phone is turned off and charging? Sounds like you got screen burn-in.. this happens when you leave the same image on the screen for hours and hours

As for charging try a different charger. Bad charger maybe? A lemon Gnexus could be
In the cards. Now images burned into the screen ?? Are you on a custom rom?
Get a new battery and try to flash to another rom
Or reflash stock etc..

Thanks for replies. Yeah, like the charging indicator when switched off. It has a light green and is only visible on a white background. No custom rom, untouched.

Thanks

I just went back to stock because of a similar issue. My stock charger either wasn't charging, or was charging as USB. It even went so far as to allow the home screen to rotate (similar to car mode). I also couldn't get a usb connection to my PC.

Anyway, after being able to charge all night and day on other chargers, I came home, and began the unrooting process with a different cable. I was able to wiggle my OEM cable and get it to start working though. Also, in some other threads I've seen, people suggest slightly bending the phones usb connector up (with tweezers) as that can solve a bad connection issue.

So, long story short, even though it might just be a cable issue, I didn't want it to be the start of a USB port issue, which would leave me unlocked, rooted, and out of warranty with no way returning back to stock.

Also, now that I'm back to stock, I'm kinda hoping the issue gets worse, so I can get a replacement GNex since mine has a minor pit in the screen from being dropped on New Years.
