Galaxy Nexus to Note 2 - Just swap sim?

I did a buddy upgrade on my wife's line to get the Galaxy Note 2. My wife just has a regular flip phone and doesn't want a smart phone. That being said, the Galaxy Note 2 arrives today sometime. I have a Galaxy Nexus right now. Could I just swap the SIM card in the devices and be up and running or do I have to call Verizon and swap phones? I know my wife's plan and phone won't change unless the SIM gets activated. May as well remove the SIM if I don't need it.

Your thoughts?

I would like to know this as well. I think the answer is yes....I thought I read they both use microsim

You'll need to call Verizon to switch the phone over to your number, but you won't need a new 4G SIM if that's what you selected during checkout. The SIM is for 4G only, but without CDMA authorization from Verizon it won't work anyway. Either way, you're calling Verizon. It's effortless, though.
