I'm not a fan of Reese Cups. Or peanut butter for that matter. However, I have been taking peanut butter sandwiches to work for lunch. Figure that one out.

No. I was wondering about that. My sister loved the book and lent it to me; I started reading it, but was really bored with it by about 15% in so I stopped. I had the feeling that the author was just trying to tug heart strings (9/11), and the key just didn't keep my interest.

But it's pretty good?
 
I hate Reese cups with a passion. I could be starving to death and have only Reese cups in the house, and I would rather just wait. Or die.

Rolos, on the other hand, are absolutely wonderful.

It is good. Great story about a kid finding himself and overcoming his fears. But you are right about tugging the heart strings.
 
I love Rolo's and Reese's.

BUT my favorite are Cadbury eggs and its the perfect time of year for those. My girlfriend had her first one the other day - she loves them now.

Ha! Reminds me of another fine Navy story:

We used to have a mobile pizza van come along the pier, selling Sailors pizzas (because the food was so... well... not pizza). Problem was, once everyone saw you had a pizza, they all wanted a slice.

I would come back aboard to the usual "Oh, you have pizza, huh?" hinting for a slice: of course, once you give one slice away, you give it ALL away. SO....

I would, without even opening the box, reply "Sure! You want a slice? I hope you like anchovies!"

They would wince and say "never mind..." and keep walking.

Of course, I can't stand anchovies - and I wasn't technically LYING since I never actually said MY pizza had anchovies on it - but I got to eat the whole thing by myself every time :D

I've never had one. For some reason, I imagine that as soon as I bite into it, I'll get some gross goo all over my chin. Not appealing.

Besides, it's impossible for a rabbit to lay eggs. I have never seen so many pagan symbols of fertility used to market a candy in my entire life!
 
I love Reese's and cannot believe that anyone would hate candy with such conviction. Shame on you Han...here's some hard candy...(sticks out hand to offer):rolleyes: lol

+1 on everything in that post! Rolo's are great but Cadbury Eggs are the best of all!
 
Ugh, this is what I get for filing taxes this late. We're still trying to figure out whether to file jointly or separately (first year being married). Apparently TurboTax isn't letting my put in student loan interest if we file separately. Still waiting to hear from my tax genius dad on what to do (he seriously used to work at H&R Block for fun during tax season, he's that much of a math nerd).

Also, I attempted some more Android skills today at lunch. A woman was trying to transfer pics from her SD Card enabled flash drive to her Mac. Wasn't working and asked me for help. After some grumbles under my breath, I tried to see what I could do. I have no idea how Mac OS works and especially its file manager but it looked like her flash drive was busted. So I plugged the card into my Prime, pulled up the photos no problem. Dropped them on her alternate flash drive in a few seconds. However, when she put the drive back into her Mac, no luck. Ah well, I tried to help someone out.
 
Alright on the candy front, I'm pretty traditional. I'll always go for a Snickers if its solo (though Baby Ruths are another fav.). But if you can't handle the epic combination of chocolate and peanut butter, this sums it up:

Always love the crunchy/salty component with a candy bar. Don't eat sweets too often (I know, I'm an educated pastry cook, shut up), but I like balance of salt/sweet whenever I do.
