Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Oh boy that pepper looks ridiculously spicy. That is absolutely insane.

I cut it in half and ate the end that had all the seeds and membrane. There was no heat for about 5 seconds and then it just started to get hotter and hotter. After swallowing half it I couldn't take it anymore and spit the rest out. I sat there for another 20 grueling minutes sipping milk. The milk only helped for a second.

I don't think I'll ever eat one again...unless someone pays me :D

I just like the option of being able to press and hold something and have it pop up.

Thats what she said!!!

That looked beyond painful!

haha should have eaten peanut butter too :D

It coats your mouth and diffuses the pain.

Checked out CNA's site and it looks like he added a bunch of stuff to the 3.2 rom. I'm still loving Sourcery though.

Hola all. Been sporadic on AF because for two weeks I've been flying more than Cap'n Ron. Canada to LA to NY to LA to Canada. Visiting clients and kids and picking up/dropping off a kid at camp. Thank goodness I can upgrade to a seat that reclines more than 1 centimeter.

Halon - you are crazy dude. Any residual effect on the taste buds? Want to go out for some curry? ;)

Ryan - that sucks big time. Not good being at the mercy of some corporate monolith. Austin is one of the greatest cities (I considered moving there). The people are unbelievably friendly, food is awesome (BBQ!), the music roots are the best (from SRV to Willie), and it's a huge college party town. But not the same as S.B. for sure. Would you consider a move? How would this affect the wedding plans?

Been tracking the RAZR HD release and impending announcement September 5. Looking good to me (not being an avid ROMmer like y'all).

Hope everyone is good.

I'm thinking of flashing AOKP b1 tonight but people are saying great things about CNA.

Tough decision for me.

I would advise against AOKP B1. Lacking on features and some of those are buggy right now for me. I flashed it on my Nexus 7 and immediately went back to CNA. Running Sourcery on the GNex right now and having great results with it. Customizations out the wazoo and it seems very stable and has good battery life so far. I would recommend it.

BTW...Sourcery is the only ROM I have tried that actually has a working backlight level editor on JB. CNA never worked on my GNex or N7 and it didn't work with AOKP on the N7. This is a huge feature for me as I found it really is the only mod that increases battery life other than kernel improvements.

Thats what she said!!!

Nice one, lol :D

GO GIANTS!! BEAT THE DODGERS!! (WE NEED A BROOM ICON)

Treo, I'm a die hard Braves fan but in general, just a baseball fan. I haven't been to ALL the stadiums or even close to be honest, but I've been to several major ones: Turner Field, Yankee Stadium, Busch Stadium... (Want to go to Wrigley and Fenway really bad). The wife and I stopped in San Fran for a couple of days on vacation a few weeks ago and I have to say that AT&T Park is by far the COOLEST ballpark I've been in. I was very impressed with the stadium as well as the fans. We got our tickets on the right field wall with the cove to our backs. Very cool location and great atmosphere :D

Ugh I am beyond annoyed - I need to figure this out.

So supposedly there was a ROM Manager update a few weeks ago that placed .nomedia files in the wrong folder and it messed up some media players and galleries and stuff. BUT I updated and deleted all of the incorrectly placed .nomedia files and my device is still messed up. I keep some local media on my phone, but for whatever reason no music player can see it. I've downloaded 3-4 different ones today and none of them detect the music. I've even downloaded an app to start a media rescan of the device, but to no avail.

Has anyone had this issue? I'm thinking of trying to uninstall ROM Manager since I don't really use it any way since I started using TWRP and not CM roms. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks everyone!

I would get rid of ROM manager. I haven't used it since my old Droid.

As for your issue...never had that happen. That sucks.

.

Absolutely no side effects. I would love some curry! It has been awhile. There is an Indian restaurant(Bricklane Curry) in NYC that I saw on Food Network that has a phall dish that I really want to eat.

They probably don't, but I've got 60 cents counting 5 pennies and what I want is 60 cents. Without the 5 pennies, I can't afford anything other than crackers and I want cookies!

That's what I say - SHALOM! I'm such a good sport about Jewish jokes (yes I am Jewish).

Ya know...I always thoug the phrase was "chew them down" when talking about negotiating a price when trying to buy something. It wasn't till recently (I'm 28 mind you) that I realized the phrase was Jew, not chew quickly realized the negative connotations toward Jews in that phrase. I no longer use the phrase, lol
