Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Had my Stone Enjoy By last night and oh boy was it one of the best IPAs I've ever had - the floral/hoppy notes were so fresh and rich. It was so smooth. If you can find one via the locator, PLEASE pick one up and try it.

Wait.

Seriously, wait.

You mean I get to post this and it's not a warning about milestone posting???

Excellent! :)

I now return you to your previous rocking on.

PS - this puts you one closer.

Do you guys realize that in just a tad over 3 months we will have been rocking our Nexi for a year? We're almost half way to an upgrade and I dont' have phone envy yet. Wonder how many of us will be in the next big device pre-release thread, haha. Probably another Nexus for me as long as Verizon opts for it.

Man, I don't even know how Verizon contracts work anymore - it used to be early upgrade every year like clockwork for me, but now NE2 is gone and the structures are all changed, etc etc etc, not to mention the fact that even grandfathered unlimited is getting the big ugly axe, and you're force migrated to the tiered data when you try to renew your contract. I don't even know if I want to change phones ever again!

You do raise a great point though, geek - it's definitely a testament to the awesomeness of this product that we're all still happy with it; in fact, I still think it's the best overall phone on the market. The GS3 and One X and a few others might have a few edges on hardware specs, but none have nearly the same developer support and modding communities. Our Nexus is still top dog IMO.

As for whatever comes down the line, I agree that I'm probably a Nexus-only consumer from now on - anything else will just feel too restrictive! I actually do like the idea of having multiple OEMs trying their hand at Nexus devices; since the idea is all about choice, this will mean the most options possible! I'm still interested in the idea of a Motorola Nexus, especially now with Google behind the wheel (as long as they don't try to pull any fast ones on us, like the root checkers).

Am the only one here that lets pizza sit out in the box instead of putting it in the fridge? I think it tastes best one to two days later.

Ehhh I always fridge it up then throw it in the oven on 350 for a few minutes and it gets pretty good. I don't like day old pizza except for leftover Domino's for breakfast. Ooof bringing me back to college life.

We reheat pizza in a skillet. Gets the crust nice and crispy and the cheese melty again.
But we do put it in the fridge when its left.

The XDA and RootzWiki threads are saying that the primary benefit from the new radios is quicker 3G/4G and Wifi/data handoffs. Still, that's a nice upgrade.

EDIT: oh no i didn't reload the page! Ahhhh

Now that's funny :D
That is pretty funny!

I do loves me some red power making the 20,000 post to me possible. And to all of my friends here - you all have no idea how much you've helped me in 20,000 posts. There is good advice, friends helping one another, a great deal of randomness, and many friendships that could easily make the leap from online to real life (and have in some cases).

Yup flashed new radios here - notice no true increase, but at my new desk I have 4-bars of 4G like before.

If those of you on JB Sourcery can report on any radio changes I'd appreciate it.

As to new phones, I'd seriously look at Bring your own device, not sure to which carrier since Verizon used to work well pre-nexus. Just can't get any radios to work in places I know have service and have had for years.

Don't trust Verizon after crippling my Nexus, late to ics, no support for wallet, "one way" Call disconnect issues.
