Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Hmmmm. Yeah, a few of those just disappeared. They do allow for rougher comments there.

Most comments knocking the features just aren't so from other reports though.

faith in humanity is lost ... I mean its just a phone ... why?

I know it's not terribly tasteful, but I got a chuckle. :)

it was funny

I think its sad that the convo goes from the phone and its mid level specs to the debate that the girl in the video is fat and has a nose ring AHHHHH these people need to go back to redit or where they came from and leave us tech junkies alone

Morning all! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I got NO sleep last night. Took forever to fall asleep because I stayed up late Friday and Saturday night and took a nap yesterday afternoon. After I finally fell asleep, 2 hours later I had to get up to pee....that never happens to me...does to the wife frequently now...but not me. After I finally fell asleep after that, I woke back up less than an hour later with a stuffy AND runny nose. Couldn't breathe so it took me forever to get back asleep again. Ugh. Red Bull is in order this morning.

If you watch that video ( and they're using my dream machine and next grill, the Weber Genesis S-330 :D ), then you'll see it's a flat top with all the benefits of a grill without the disadvantages: You still get the grill lines, everything sears in, but nothing flares up or falls through the grates.

I'll give it a shot and let you know how they work :)

I just watched the video. It sounds like a cheesy infomercial! LOL

And grill marks on pancakes! :D

Looks like it works though.

The only problem I see with that grill mat is if you're cooking burgers or steaks (meat with higher fat content) where does the fat go as it cooks out? For veggies and lean meats I bet it works great though.

How's the One working out for you, Hadron?
Loaded an AOSP ROM or sticking with stock?
The One's fine. Still using rooted stock 4.2.2 at the moment (i.e. this morning's 4.2.2 update, rooted), which gets rid of silly 3-dot menu bars. Will probably start playing with ROMs properly in a few weeks, as things are kinda busy right now. Sense 5's a lot lighter than Sense 1 on the Desire was, so I'll probably give some ROMs based on that a go first, but will have to try AOSP from the Google Edition at some point to compare (maybe see how much space the MoDaCo dual-boot solution uses?).

Glad I had the sense to S-Off before the 4.2.2 update arrived, since it seems that patches the exploits that were used to obtain it. Don't you just love playing cat and mouse? :)

I gather Touchwiz didn't last long on your S3 ;)
